Blackberry plans to introduce 2 new Android handsets

Publish On : 19/07/2016

Blackberry, currently, doesn’t have the same reputation as it had before in the smart-phone market. For this reason, some may think that Blackberry is planning to quit their hardware business. In spite of not achieving the target in the ultimate competing smart-phone market, Blackberry didn’t get infirmed yet.

There are various rumors in the market, regarding the operations of this Canadian company. But, recently, CEO of Blackberry Mr. John Chen confirmed, “Blackberry is now working with a view to launch two new android handsets in the current year. The handsets will consist of Querty Keyboard and complete touch screen. Apart from that the standard of the handsets will be much better than ‘Blackberry Priv’, launched last year”.

In the statement, he also added, “We are not prepared yet. We have a plan to launch one handset at the beginning of July and another one, by the end of July, which belong to the middle and high range”.

It is to be noted that last year Blackberry launched their first android handset, but it didn’t fulfill their expectation. As per news source, the product sales were only 6 lakh in the last quarter, which was gradually deteriorating. But, still, CEO of Blackberry hoes for the survival in the mobile-phone business and for income from the business.
