ICT Division Official Website Got Hacked and then Retrieved

The official website of the Information and Communication Technology Division got retrieved within only two hours after getting hacked on last Saturday, June 17, 2017. ICT Division’s expertise and hard effort made this retrieval of the website possible.

The ICT Division official website got restored before 4:30 pm, as the ICT Ministry claimed. As per the initial inquiry, this hacking incident was occurred by any foreign state and to identify this incident specifically, we need to have more inquiries, as the ministry stated.

Due to this hacking incident, from now on, all the concerned from the ministry will be more conscious to keep their official website more secured. Ensuring the digital security of digital media and infrastructures is an ongoing process, as the ICT Division believes.
