Bangabandhu Hi-tech Park Construction work has been inaugurated in the divisional city Rajshahi. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the construction of boundary walls and gates of the Hi-tech Park at Zia Nagar in Rajshahi.
Around 14 thousand young males and females are likely to get employment opportunity over here, after the Hi-tech Park construction work is done, as Palak stated. He also said-The entire world will come to know Rajshahi with new identity within 2021 and the city along with this identity, will get familiar to the world even, because of this Hi-tech Park.
Previously, in last January 13, 2017, the State Minister set the foundation level of Hi-tech Park and later, road was constructed over there, too.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by the Project Director A.K.M Fazlul Haque. A.H.M Khayruzzaman Liton, Member of Central Executive Committee, Awami League, M.P Fazle Hossain Badsha-Rajshai-2 (Sadar), M.P Ayen Uddin, Rajshahi-3 (Paba-Mohanpur) and Akter Jahan, MP to Reserved Women Seats, were present in the program as special guests.
The infrastructure of the Hi-tech Park is going to be like Silicon Valley, USA on 31.63 acres land with the expenditure of BDT 2810 million 19 lakh. Besides a 10 storey building, a 5 storey IT Incubator cum Training Center of 62 thousand Square-feet is to be setup and hopefully, the construction work will be completed in next three years.
