National Heart Foundation has unveiled a mobile app with a view to providing treatment services to the heart-patients though just a single click. The Hospital Management and Patient’s Interactive Communication app named ‘eHeart’ has been launched in Play Store and Apple’s App Store on July 25, 2017.
Arbor Lab of Bangladesh University has developed the app with the support of Information and Communication Technology Division of Bangladesh Government.
In order to make the heart disease treatment more developed and simpler to the general people, City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Anisul Haque, Dhaka-North and ICT Sate Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the ‘eHeart’ app at National Heart Foundation Auditorium, Mirpur.
Anisul Haque said-Heart patients always remain in risky condition. Their treatment must be appropriate, otherwise they may even collapse. Now, they will be able to get treatment, medicines on regular basis using this app. Resultantly, their time will be saved, they will get relief from harassment and a good relationship will be built up with the medical doctors as well.
ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said-Government is to take different initiatives to digitalize country’s treatment sector. The app ‘eHeart’, basically, is considered a strong proof of the unimaginable role played National Heart Foundation for the betterment of the treatment sector.
