Government has taken a new initiative for investment and employment growth making a link among the CEOs from both local and foreign companies. An initiative titled ‘Strategic CEO Outreach Program’ has been taken under LICT Project of Bangladesh computer Council (BCC).
Government executed this program in association with US based Boston onsulting Group (BCG), as it was informed in the inauguration ceremony of this initiative held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel,Dhaka, on July 31, 2017.
BCG will contribute in investment and employment growth of the I CT sector by creating a link and business relationship among the CEOs from the local and foreign IT companies for next two years.
In the proram, ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak as Chief Guest said-All the strategies are being maintained considering the young generation of the country. Resultantly, manpower to get involved in uprising global technology industry is being created, like in sectors Internet of Things, Analytics, Social Media Management, Cloud, Mobile Technology, Robotics, Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) and so on.
Among others, Managing Director of BCG Partner Kualalampur Chapter Mr. Zarif Munir, Director of New Delhi Chapter Mr. Bikash Jain, Chairman to Bangladesh Ivestment Development Authority Kazi Aminul Islam, Chairman of National Board of Revenue (NBR) Mr. Nojibur Rahman, Component Team Leader of LICT Project Mr. Sami Ahmed and othere representatives from Bangladesh Bank, industries, IT companies and leading business associations were also present in the program.
