Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) remains stiff on the proposal of the previous mobile phone call rate sent back from the telecommunication division.
As per the proposal, minimum call rate within the same operator was supposed to be increased up to 0.10 taka, in case of different operators, the call rate was to be reduced up to 0.15 taka and maximum call rate limit was supposed to be 1.50 taka. BTRC, recently, sent this proposal to the Telecommunication Division for approval. But, the division sent it back again for review, though BTRC is not likely to bring any changes in their decision regarding the call rate issue. Source-techshohor.
