Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) has organized a day long training session on programming for teachers titled ‘Scratch Programming Porichiti (স্ক্র্যাচ প্রোগ্রামিং পরিচিতি)’. This event has been organized at BITM (BASIS Institute of Technology and Management), Dhaka on August 25, 2017. 30 teachers from Bangladesh Digital School Society have been provided training on the first day of this program.
During the inauguration of the training session, BASIS President Mustafa Jabbar said-Aiming to build up a technology based, developed Bangladesh, our next generation has to be educated in information technology. That’s the reason such training session has been organized for teachers so that any kids can come to know about programming during their childhood and even, teachers can teach the school students too.
Programming can be easily learnt through scratch programming, as the discussants stated in the program. They also said- It is such a programming language through which no codes need to be written and even, anyone can consider it a game.
