‘We have to be aware to lead Digital Bangladesh in future and so, we need an innovative mindset. The most important thing that we need is a ‘Learnable Generation’ who wants to learn, who wants to know. I don’t know everything, but I want to know-if someone possesses this will, then it would be possible for him or her to conquer the world’-as stated ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak as chief guest in the closing and prize distribution ceremony of ‘Digital Innovation Challenge for Women 2017’ held at the auditorium of Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB), Farmgate, Dhaka on October 14, 2017.
The world famous software developing organization Microsoft organized this one and a half month long event. The contest got started on last September 9 along with the participation of 256 female students with their 192 projects.
Apart from the ICT State Minister, Professor Dr. Zafar Iqbal-Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sonia Bashir Kabir-Managing Director to Microsoft Bangladesh, Mr. M.A Awal-Municipal Mayor of Ramganj, Susanta Kumar Saha-Additional ICT Secretary, Abul Khayer Patowari-Advisor to Women in Digital, Professor DR. Yasmin Haq- Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Mustafa Jabbar-BASIS President, Farhana A Rahman-Vice-President of BASIS, Asia Khaleda Neela, Founder of Women in Digital and others also delivered their precious speeches in the program.
