Mobile phone operator Robi Axiata Limited has taken all the preparations including infrastructure for initiating Fourth Generation (4G) telecommunication service in the country. But, usage of 4G enabled smartphones is still insufficient, as the operator thinks. So, Robi has taken an initiative to launch ‘Nokia 2’ smartphones jointly aiming to increase the usage of 4G enabled handsets.
A declaration to launch ‘Nokia 2’ Smartphone has been made through the brand Airtel of Robi in a press conference held at a local hotel in Dhaka on November 7, 2017. The handset will be available in market from Thursday, November 9, 2017 and it will cost BDT 9,600. Senior officials from Robi and from the manufacturing company of Nokia brand HMD Global, Finland were present in the press conference. Source-Prothom Alo
