Aiming to present country’s current condition of Information Technology in local and international market, ‘Digital World’ is going to take place for the fifth time. The four day long event will get inaugurated at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) on December 6, 2017 and will last till December 9, 2017. It is the biggest event of country’s IT sector.
ICT Division, the organizer of this event, called for a press conference on this occasion at the Conference Room of Software Technology Park, Janata Tower, Karwan Bazar, Dhaka on November 16, 2017.
Presenting the details of this event, ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said- The event is to take place with the slogan ‘Ready for Tomorrow’, where the achievement of Bangladesh in IT sector in last 9 years will be focused on.
Palak also said- We are going to present our so far development to the local and international tech giants through this expo. Besides, we are preparing ourselves to be used to in modern and latest technology like Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, FiNTECH, Biotech, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC), Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) and a2i Project of Prime Minister’s Office will be the co-organizers of the event along with the ICT Division. Besides, BACCO, BCS, eCab, BIJF, BBIT and CTO Forum will be the partners.
Secretary of ICT Division Mr. Subir Kishore Chowdhury, Executive Director of Bangladesh Computer Council Mr. Swapan Kumar Sarkar, other officials of ICT Division and representatives of different companies were also present in the press conference.
