Primary Book are transforming into digital version

Bangladesh has praised worldwide for the enrollment of Primary education but we donot have the enough arrangement to learn with fun. That makes the study interesting and help the children to learn well and be a good citizen. Our government would not like to stay behind in this regard and worked for a solution. And such innovative initiative solution using technology will enhance this educational movement and help to enjoy study- said Zunaid Ahmed Palak addressing the audience as a chief guest at the digital content introducing program held yesterday at BCC bhaban Dhaka.

The introduction program was organized by ICT division of the government under its “ developing interactive multimedia digital version of primary education” project.

Shayam Sundor Sikdar, secretary ,ICT division, Mejbaul Alam, Secretary, primary and mass education Ministry , SM Ashraful Alam, executive director, Bangladesh Computer Council, Begam Hosna Ara, Managing Director, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park , Md. Alamgir, director General , Primary education Adidaptor, Narayan Chandra Pal, Chairman, NCTB were present at the program. Besides the top level officials of primary and mass education ministry, ICT devision, BRAC, Save The Children were also spoke at the program. The ICT division is working on this project based on the NCTB syllybus. The project has stated on March 2014 and will finished by February 2016. The total Budget of the project is BDT 4corer 99 lac . Nongovernment organization BRAC and Save the children are providing the technical support .

Total 17 primary books out 34 are transforming into multimedia digital version where save the children is working for 5 English books and BRAC is working for t he rest 12. To transforming the content into multimedia digital version the concerns are going after the following steps

1) Script Writing Orientation
2) Script Writing
3) First Feedback
4) Second Feedback

The books of Class 4 & 5 will start to transform in coming year said the official during the program.
