Aiming to develop technological skills of students, Daffodil International University (DIU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a2i- (Access to Information) project of ICT Division of Ministry of Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology, today on 14 May 2019 at office of the ICT Division, Agargaon, Dhaka. Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, DIU and Mr. Md. Mustafizur Rahman, Project Director, a2i- (Access to Information) Project, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions. Mr. N M Ziaul Alam, Secretary, ICT Division, Professor Dr. Engineer A K M Fazlul Hoque, Registrar, Professor Dr. Masum IQBAL, dean, Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Abu Taher Khan, Director, CDC of DIU and other high officials of both the organizations were present. 

According to the agreement, the two institutes will work collaboratively for skill development, apprenticeship, entrepreneurship development, employment generation, innovation, research etc.From now DIU will assist a2i to identify human resources demand from respective industries forDaffodil students.DIU will assist a2i to develop competency standards, modules and course curriculumbased on the demand from industries in collaboration with Bangladesh TechnicalEducation Board (BTEB). Besides this DIU will arrange consultations, workshops, seminar, and orientations for industry andskills development institutes in collaboration with a2i.

On the other hand a2i will support to arrange Apprenticeship program for students on various trades in collaboration with DIU. a2i will assist DIU to create linkage with industries to ensure decent employment in collaboration with a2i. a2i will support DIU to identify local problem and solve it through Research and Development.
