Teletalk is likely to launch 4G services in May this year, as informed Post, Telecommunication and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar. He stated this replying a question asked by Mr. Didarul Alam, MP in National Parliament House on January 24, 2018.

The minister said- Teletalk has initiated a plan to launch 4G services in all the divisional cities of the country with their own finance of around taka 2000 million. Aiming to extend Teletalk network for having more subscribers, two projects are already on process. It would be possible to provide uninterrupted 3G services up to the upazila level after these two projects are accomplished.

Number of 3G subscribers was around 60 million 4 lakh and 19 thousand till last December, 2017, as informed ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar.
