Country’s first artificial satellite ‘Bangabandhu Satellite-1’ launch has been rescheduled. It was supposed to be launched on May 4. But, now the rescheduled date is May 7.

Honorable Post, Telecommunication and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar informed this rescheduled date of Bangabandhu Satellite launch in a discussion titled ‘বঙ্গবন্ধু-১ স্যাটেলাইট: সম্ভাবনার মহাকাশ’ (Bangandhu-1 Satellite: Space with Potential) held today, April 25 at the conference room of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).

Minister said- Although Bangandhu-1 Satellite was supposed to be launched on May 4, due to the weather conditions, the possible launching date has been rescheduled to May 7.
