Association of Mobile Telecom Operators of Bangladesh (AMTOB) raised a proposal for VAT exemption imposed 21.75% (VAT, SD and Surcharge) on internet usage on mobile phones. The proposal was raised by the AMTOB leaders in a pre-budget discussion held at the NBR (National Board of Revenue) auditorium on April 16.
