'Gas Monkey' app offers LPG cylinder home deliveryThe Election Commission (EC) has directed the officials to change the passwords of the respective systems every month to prevent National Identity Card (NID) fraud or data leakage. Director General of NID Division AKM Humayun Kabir has already sent the directive to the field officials.

It said that the user ID password of the Upazila Election Officer, Senior District/District Election Officer, Regional Election Officer and National Identity Registration Division’s Card Management System (CMS) should be changed every month.

The EC is worried about its security after the leak of NID information from the website of the government organization last year. Since then, the organization has been giving various instructions from time to time to increase the security of NID servers and keep the officials alert.
