Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the UNESCO Certificate of Bangabandhu’s historic 7th March speech to ICT Division on March 6, 2018 at Ganabhaban. Post, Telecommunication and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar, ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak and ICT Secretary Subir Kishore Chowdhury received the certificate from the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Addressing the next generation to make them realizing the dignity of Bangabandhu’s historic 7th March Speech, Sheikh Hasina said-This historic speech still excites us. After 1975, this speech was banned. Anyone who intended to play the audio of this speech had to get suffered. Today, this speech has come back to the general people with a tremendous recognition.

This historic 7th March Speech has been placed in the list of 41 speeches selected from all the speeches world-wide of last two and a half thousand years was presented in the certificate hand over ceremony. Basically, its significance was presented in the certificate hand over ceremony.
