In the fourth quarter of 2023 in Bangladesh, TikTok removed 7.5 million 99 thousand 349 videos for violating community guidelines. Of these, 95.3 percent of videos were removed within just one day. The video removal rate for this quarter was 99.5 percent.

In addition, TikTok has removed accounts of under 13 platform users suspected of being users and for the safety of young people. A total of 1 crore 98 lakh 48 thousand 855 such accounts have been removed worldwide.

This information was found in the platform’s newly published Community Guidelines Enforcement Report. The report is prepared based on the period of the fourth quarter of 2023 (October-December 2023).

According to the report, a total of 176.64 million 61 thousand 963 videos were removed from the platform worldwide during the same period. That’s about 1.0 percent of all videos uploaded to the platform. Of these, 12.83 million 584 videos were automatically removed. On the other hand, 80 lakh 38 thousand 106 videos were scrutinized and put back on the platform.
