A mobile science education program was organized at Katiyadi in Kishoreganj on Wednesday under the initiative of National Museum of Science and Technology.
A science lecture titled ‘Role of Artificial Intelligence in Meeting the Challenges of the 4th Industrial Revolution’ was organized in the program organized at Gachihata Bidyaniketan premises in Katiadi as part of Science Education Extension program at the marginal level run by the Science Museum.
About 1,000 students from five educational institutions participated in this event. A museum bus and a movie bus of the Science Museum participated in the two-day program. Attending science lectures, students engaged themselves in insightful discussions on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
In this context, Director General of National Science and Technology Museum Mohammad Munir Chowdhury said, “The purpose of this program is to distribute knowledge about modern science and technology to the students through the museum bus. Science museums are playing a very important role in creating interest and passion for science education among the marginalized young generation.
Along with formal education, this non-formal initiative will act as a catalyst to make the young generation science minded. This program of science museum in remote areas of Bangladesh will continue.”
