Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited and the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a three-year partnership aimed at promoting collaboration, innovation, and technological advancement. This agreement will strengthen the foundation for friendship and cooperative exchanges between the two parties, with a special emphasis on strategic cooperation, research, and innovation projects.

Under the terms of the MoU, Walton Digi-Tech and MIST will collaborate in various areas to advance and exchange research. One of the primary goals of the partnership is to enhance the adoption of smart technology in educational institutions, providing state-of-the-art equipment for students and researchers, as well as offering engineering training, workshops, industrial visits, and scholarships. These initiatives aim to accelerate the future technological development of Bangladesh.

The signing ceremony took place on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the MIST Conference Hall, where S M Rezaul Alam, Chairman of Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited, and Major General Mohammad Nasim Parvez, Commandant of MIST, signed the MoU.

This agreement marks an important step in fostering mutual cooperation, enabling both organizations to contribute to the enrichment of the country’s research sector and the adoption of smart technology in education.
