SAP and SS Solutions organized an event at The Westin, Dhaka, titled ‘Digital the Economic Growth Engine for Bangladesh’. Honorable Commerce Minister Mr. Tofail Ahmed, MP, was present in the event as chief guest. Managing Director of SS Solutions Sarazeen Kazi and Head of SAP Business, Asia Pacific & Japan Mr. Erwan Philippe were also present in the program. Apart from them, German Ambassador Dr. Thomas Heinrich Prinz and President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Mr. Kazi Salah Uddin also took seat as the special guests of this evening.    

At the beginning of the program, Managing Director of SS Solutions Sarazeen Kazi said- "We at SS Solutions- partner of SAP are proud to announce the only SAP Certified Academy here in Dhaka in Banani and Panthapath. We have also started our training at AIUB for the graduate students. And most importantly we are launching today three packages of SAP Business One-an ERP platform suited for small and medium enterprises. We have put together a package for non-manufacturing, manufacturing and advanced manufacturing. We can all now run on SAP and run better."

On the other hand, Head of SAP Business, Asia Pacific & Japan Mr. Erwan Philippe said- “SAP has a very big focus on growth markets like Bangladesh. SAP Business one is an affordable and easy to use solution for Small and Medium Enterprises.

As chief guest, Honorable Commerce Minister Mr. Tofail Ahmed, MP, said-Digital Bangladesh is no more a vision, it is turning into reality. In an era focused on continuous innovation and anticipating customer needs, it is really difficult to turn the vision into reality that request continuous improvisation, as he added.

Nonetheless, some prominent top level officials, IT experts from both public and private sectors also participated in this session.
