The Techshohor Smartphone and Tab Expo (STE)-2018 kicked off on Thursday morning to bring opportunities to the gadget lovers to experience and get the latest editions of smart phone and tablet computer brands.

The expo will continue at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the capital till Saturday while expo area will open from 10 AM to 8 PM every day. Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar is scheduled to inaugurated the three-day fair as chief guest today afternoon (4PM). ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak is guest of honor on the occasion.

Other expected guests are Samsung Mobile Bangladesh Head of mobile business Muyeedur Rahman, Transsion Bangladesh Chief Executive Rezwanul Hoque, Symphony Mobile Senior Director Maksudur Rahman, WE Mobile Deputy General Manager Muntasir Ahmed, Huawei Consumer Business Group Country Director Aaron Shi, Oppo Bangladesh Marketing Director Bruce Lee, VIVO Bangladesh Country Sales Director Sharon Wen and Nokia Bangladesh Marketing Head Iffat Zahur and Expo Maker Strategic Planner Muhammad Khan.

The STE is the largest events of show casing of the smart phone and tablet computers in the country which is organized for tenth times by the event management firm Expo Maker.

There are available smart devices of all globally renowned mobile brands. Samsung, Tecno, Symphony, We, Huawei, Nokia, Vivo, iPhone, Lava, Winmax, Lenovo, DTEL, Umidigi, and Solar Electro are participating at the expo. The brands will display and sell the smart devices, according to the organizers.

Besides, there will be uncovered new smart phones at the expo premises. Visitors also can collect the necessary accessories from the fair.

Expo Maker Strategic Planner Muhammad Khan said, “The participant companies are offering special price cut and gift items during the fair. The visitors get opportunities to pick smart devices from a variety of brands under one roof. There will be some other special arrangements as well for visitors.”

Samsung and Tecno are platinum sponsors, Symphony and WE Mobile are gold sponsors while internet-based tech news producer Techshohor dotcom goes title of the expo for this edition.

Huawei, Nokia, Oppo and Vivo have joined as silver sponsors; overseas education consulting firm EduMaker is partner of the event. There are two pavilions of the platinum sponsors along side with four others pavilions by the gold and silver sponsors. Besides, there will be installed four pavilions and 6 stalls of the participant smart brads. The brands will of special gift box including raffle draw and selfie contest marking the exposition.
