Aiming for women empowerment, country’s first online based job marketplace ‘The 2 Hour Job’ has been officially launched. Post, Telecommunication and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar inaugurated the job platform at Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) in Agargaon, Dhaka on July 15.
The 2 Hour Job is such platform where women sitting at home can deliver their professional services to fulfill different institutional demands utilizing their own skills.
In the inauguration ceremony, Mustafa Jabbar said- It can be considered a technological revolution where women need not to depend on anyone else for jobs. Rather, women can get employed sitting at home. Women will be the instructor of each other over here in regard of skill development.
Component Team Leader of Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment and Governance Sami Ahmed, Founder of Bangladesh Intellectual Property Forum Barrister Hamidul Misbah, Founder and Proprietor of Women and E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh Nasima Akter Nisha, General Manger of Ogylovy Fahima Chowdhury Keya, Chief Advisor of The 2 Hour Job Arif R Hossain and Investment Advisor of Startup Bangladesh ICT Division Tina Jabin and others were also present in the inauguration ceremony.
