ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said- Our current government is working on ensuring ICT based employment in country. Considering this, country’s first ‘Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center’ has been established in Natore. Trainees from country’s different northern districts already started earning getting trained from the training center. In future, Natore will be the Northern Hub of ICT sector, as said the State Minister in the inauguration ceremony of Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center held at an abandoned building in Natore on September 22. The training center cost taka 6 crore and 87 lakh.
Palak also added- In future, ICT sector will be the key support to remove unemployment problem in our country. Manufacturing and marketing of different IT products currently commenced in our country. By 2021 Bangladesh is likely to emerge as one of the leading IT product exporters in the world.
Apart from the State Minister, honorable Member of Parliament of Natore-2 constituency Mr. Shafiqul Islam Shimul, Managing Director of Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority Hosne Ara Begum, NDC and others were also present in the program.
