Internet Society (ISOC) Bangladesh chapter organised a workshop titled 'Cyber ​​Security Awareness in Bangladesh' at the auditorium of Daffodil International University on October 20.

Syed Nasirullah, Senior Assentment Commissioner of Cyber ​​Security and Crime Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police and Mohammad Bahauddin Palash Information Security Specialist of e-Gov CIRT of Bangladesh Computer Council attended the workshop as discussant.

They discussed in detail about the types of cyber crimes, how to remain safe, and how to get necessary legal assistance when attacked in Bangladesh.

They also said the most important step to prevent cybercrime is to have a proper knowledge about individual awareness and the current law of the country. If attacked, the first step is to seek legal help from law enforcement agencies in the right way.

ISOC Bangladesh chapter Vice Presidents Nader Bin Ali and Abdul Awal, General Secretary Mohammad Kawsher Uddin and Treasurer Engineer Nasir Firoz, among others, were present in the workshop.
