Daffodil International University (DIU) has secured first position in world ranking programming contest organized by the URI Online Judge (Problems & Contests) of URI University, US. The website says that, 3,602 students of Daffodil International University have been solved 1, 37,908 problems. And that is why DIU is in top rank of all universities in the world.

In a reaction of this brilliant success, Head of(Computer science & Engineering (CSE) Department Professor Dr. Syed Akter Hossain said, to encourage and motivate the students of Department of Computer science & Engineering, DIU always arranges Take-Off and Intra-dept programming contest in every semester and hosts ACM ICPC regularly since its inception. These kinds of contests make the students more competent in programming. Continuous efforts of the university, the students are bringing success from around the world.
