Akhteruzzaman Manju, former president of Intent Internet Service Providers Association Bangladesh (ISPAB), breathed his last in a hospital in Dhaka on Wednesday (Jan 9) morning.
Posts, telecommunications and information technology minister Mustafa Jabbar expressed profound shock at the death of Akhteruzzaman Manju.
In a condolence message, Jabbar recalled the contribution of Manju and said that the country’s technology industry had lost a skilled entrepreneur in his demise, said a ministry release.
‘His contributions in the spread of the intent internet service providers in the country would be remembered forever,’ said Jabbar.
He also said that the vacuum created by the demise of Akhteruzzaman Manju was an irreparable loss which would never be filled.
The minister also prayed for salvation of the departed soul and extended his deep sympathy to the bereaved family
