Officextracts, Kaspersky Lab Distribution of Bangladesh organized a felicitation program in honor of the members of newly elected committee (2018-2020) of Bangladesh Computer society (BCS) on 18 January 2018 at Seven Hills restaurant in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka.
Leaders of the Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) and Council Members led by Prof. Dr. Hafiz Md. Hasan Babu, President of BCS attended the felicitation ceremony.
Mr. Prabeer Sarkar, Chief Executive Officer of Officextracts, Kaspersky Lab Distribution of Bangladesh presided over the program while Mr. Shrenik Bhayani, General Manager of kaspersky Lab, South Asia Region was also present in the event.
Prof. Dr. Mohammad Shorif Uddin (Vice President - Administration), Mr. Sk. Md. Zaminur Rahman (Vice President - Finance), Prof. Dr. Engr. Mohammad Shamsul Arefin (Vice President - Academic), Mr. Md. Tomig Uddin Ahmed (Secretary General), Mr. Md. Akteruzzaman (Joint Secretary - Administration), Engr. S K Rawnaqus Salehin (Joint Secretary - Finance), Dr. Rezaul Karim (Joint Secretary-Academic), Dr. Lafifa Jamal (Treasurer) and all of the Council Members, New Committee (2018 – 2020) of Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) were present in the program.
The event kicked off with a welcome speech from Mr. Prabeer Sarkar, Chief Executive Officer of Officextracts, Kaspersky Lab Distribution of Bangladesh. Mr. Prabeer conveyed his sincere greetings to the newly elected members of BCS. He expressed his gratitude to the honorable members for attending the program. He hoped that the Information & Technology sector of the country will more prosperous under the strong leadership of newly elected members of the BCS.
Mr. Shrenik Bhayani, General Manager of Kaspersky Lab, South Asia Region said that Kaspersky has a very strong and popular standing in Bangladesh and I can assure you that the Kaspersky Lab will work relentlessly to make it stronger. Mr. Shrenik said this is a unique opportunity for us to interact with the IT professionals of Bangladesh. He welcomed the newly elected leaders of Bangladesh Computer Society.
