Oppo has started taking pre-orders for its new smartphone model, the Oppo A5X. The technology company has set the market price for the version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage at Tk 13,990.
The Oppo A5X has an IP65 rating, which means it is resistant to water and dust. It also comes with military-grade drop protection. The phone uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and has SGS Gold Certification, so it won’t be easily damaged if you accidentally drop it.
According to a press release, the phone uses flagship-level Artificial Intelligence (AI) features. These are features usually found in more expensive phones but are rarely seen in entry-level smartphones. The AI features include: AI Eraser 2.0, which helps remove unwanted things from photos; AI Unblur, which makes blurry pictures clear; AI Reflection Remover; and AI Clarity Enhancer.
For taking pictures, the phone has a 32-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
It also has a 6.67-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, making the screen look smoother. The phone weighs 193 grams.
The smartphone will be available in two colors: Laser White and Midnight Blue.
