Vivo, in collaboration with German optics company Zeiss, has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Vivo V60, promising to transform portrait photography with advanced telephoto capabilities.
For the first time in Bangladesh, Vivo’s V-series introduces a 50-megapixel Zeiss Super Telephoto camera. The lens is designed to capture natural skin tones, fine details, and vivid portraits even from a distance, making it ideal for concerts, festivals, and large gatherings. The company says the device allows users to frame professional-quality shots directly from their pockets.
The V60 is particularly tailored for wedding photography. Its wedding telephoto portrait mode features 85mm and 100mm close-up focal lengths, enabling sharp, detailed portraits without the need for digital zoom. A dedicated “Wedding Micro Movie” mode also allows users to create short cinematic videos, turning everyday wedding moments into storytelling experiences.
Vivo has styled the V60 with a design aimed at enhancing emotional connection. Inspired by ripe berries, the “Berry Purple” finish combines youthful vibrancy with understated elegance, while “Mist Grey” and “Desert Gold” provide additional options.
A minimalist “Star Trail” camera design and flagship quad-curved display reduce mistouches during gaming or multitasking, ensuring a seamless user experience.
The launch coincides with Vivo’s “Vivo the Moment” campaign, encouraging users to share moments from their special day for a chance to win a Vivo V60 and other prizes. Selected entries will also be featured in the Vivo Photography Chronicle magazine, creating what the company describes as “a timeless story of memories.”
