Two Bangladeshis have been listed in the Vogue Business 100 Innovators for the year 2023. Mostafiz Uddin, the founder and CEO of Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE), has been listed in the Vogue Business 100 Innovators for the year 2023. He earned this recognition under the category of 'Sustainability Thought Leaders,' as noted by the internationally renowned fashion magazine's annual list.

Another Bangladeshi Tawhida Shiropa, founder of Bangladeshi startup Moner Bondhu, was also listed in the Vogue Business 100 Innovators 2023. She also earned this recognition under the category of 'Sustainability Thought Leaders'.

Vogue Business annually acknowledges a selection of global change-makers who contribute significantly to making the fashion and beauty industries more sustainable. The list for 2023 is divided into five categories: Tech and Web3 Innovators, Sustainability Thought Leaders, Next-gen Entrepreneurs and Agitators, Beauty Disruptors, and Champions of Change.

Under Mostafiz Uddin's direction, the Bangladesh Apparel Exchange has been proactive in implementing and advocating for ethical and sustainable business practices, particularly in areas like sourcing, waste management, and workforce conditions. Prior to this, Mostafiz Uddin was also named among the world's most influential figures in the field of denim.

On the other hand, Tawhida Shiropa is a former journalist who spent around a decade working for the Daily Prothom Alo. Her startup, Moner Bondhu, clinched ICT Division's Best Startup Award at Digital World back in 2017.
