In September this year, luxury device manufacturer Caviar announced customized editions of the Huawei Mate X3 Ultimate—Black Dragon and Gold Dragon. Among them, the Gold Dragon model was coated with 24-carat gold. Now, the company has unveiled another special edition with the entire body wrapped in 18-carat gold, according to GSM Arena.

This new model resembles the Gold Dragon edition in appearance but weighs approximately 1 kilogram. The device is priced at over 100,000 USD. Caviar revealed that it was exclusively crafted for a wealthy U.S. client and is not listed on their website.

The 24-carat gold model initially carried a price tag of 14,500 USD, which has now increased to 17,340 USD. Caviar plans to produce only 88 units of this edition, as the number 88 is considered a symbol of good fortune in Chinese culture.

The standard Mate X3 Ultimate, launched by Huawei, weighs around 300 grams and was initially priced at 2,740 USD. While currently limited to the Chinese market, it is expected to debut in international markets in the first quarter of 2025.
