The new leadership of ISPAB has taken charge with the promise of new momentum in the broadband internet industry. The ISP United panel secured the majority in the election for this 2025-27 term committee. A total of 13 directors assumed responsibility through the election held on May 17 and the allocation of positions held on May 19.

Mohammad Aminul Hakim, Chief Executive Officer of Amber IT Limited, has been elected as the President of the Executive Committee of the Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB), the apex organization for broadband internet service providers in Bangladesh, for the 2025-27 term. Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan, Managing Director of KS Network Limited, has been elected to the post of General Secretary for the same term.

In the ISPAB election held on May 17, the ISP United panel achieved a majority. Their panel’s winning candidates were elected as directors. Following this, on Monday, May 19, the election for the allocation of positions among the directors was held at the ISPAB secretariat under the supervision of the election board led by Advocate Mohammad Ali of the Bangladesh Supreme Court.

Other important office bearers elected to this committee are: Senior Vice President Saif Islam Siddique, Managing Director of ICC Communication Limited; Vice President Neamul Haque Khan, Chairman of Mazeda Networks Limited; Joint General Secretary-1 Mahbub Alam Razu, CEO of Circle Network; Joint General Secretary-2 Fuad Muhammad Sharfuddin; and Treasurer Moin Uddin Ahmed, CEO of Red Data (Pvt.) Limited. The directors elected are Rashedur Rahman Rajon, Managing Director of One Sky Communications Limited; Md. Mithu Hawladar, CTO of Invention Technologies Limited; Shabbir Ahmed of Exord Online; Raisul Islam Tuhin of Tuhin Enterprise; Md. Zubair Islam of MS Zubair IT Expert; and SM Saiful Islam Selim of Sobuj Bangla Online.

The members of the newly elected committee pledged to work together to ensure technological advancement, policy progress, and customer-friendly service in the country’s internet service.
