The premier conference for the country’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry, ‘BPO Summit Bangladesh 2025,’ is scheduled to take place on June 21 and 22. This sixth edition of the event will be held at the Senaprangan venue in the capital. Keeping the transformation of a new Bangladesh in mind, the theme for this year’s summit has been set as ‘BPO 2.0: Revolution to Innovation.’

The BPO Summit is being organized by the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Directorate under the ICT Division, and initiated by the Business Promotion Council under the Ministry of Commerce, and the Bangladesh Association of Contact Center & Outsourcing (BACCO). The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) will be the strategic partner for the conference.

What to Expect at the BPO Summit

The BPO Summit will provide an opportunity for 30 local and international information technology and BPO companies to showcase their products and services. Nine seminars and workshops on information technology will be organized. In these sessions, ITES buyer companies and international information technology experts will share their experiences. Career counseling workshops will highlight the potential of the BPO industry to students and encourage them to build attractive careers in this sector.

As in previous years, CVs will be collected from those interested in building a career in the BPO industry through a job fair, and recruitment arrangements will also be in place for qualified candidates. Various seminars will focus on the challenges, opportunities, and success stories of freelancers as an integral part of the outsourcing industry. In a seminar on policy development for the ITES and BPO industry, information technology experts, high-ranking government officials, and industry leaders will discuss amendments to various laws and policies formulated by the government.
