The election board has published the final candidate list for the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS) 2025-27 term executive council election. With only seven candidates for seven positions, everyone is set to be elected uncontested. Consequently, the election scheduled for June 21st no longer holds any particular significance. Furthermore, the BCS branch committee elections are also not being held this time.

The seven final candidates for the BCS 2025-27 term are: Mohammad Zahirul Islam, Managing Director of Smart Technologies Limited; Mohammad Monirul Islam Moni, Managing Director of Computer City Technologies Limited; Md. Nazrul Islam Hazari, Proprietor of Wellkin Computers; Md. Wahidul Hasan Dipu, Proprietor of Land Mark Computers; Abul Hasan, Proprietor of H M Computers; Md. Iqbal Hossain, Proprietor of Jazzy International; and Md. Ehsanul Islam Naushad, Proprietor of PC Garden. As there are no opposing candidates in the election, they are all being elected as executive members.

The three-member election board published the election schedule on March 16th. According to the schedule, June 21st was set for vote-casting and the preliminary announcement of results. An election for portfolio distribution among the elected candidates is scheduled for June 22nd. The election board will announce the final results on June 28th.

The three members of the BCS 2025-27 election board are: Sharif Rayhan Kabir (Chairman), Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Commerce; Sandip Kumar Sarkar (Member), Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Commerce; and Md. Sirajul Islam, Deputy Controller, Ministry of Commerce.
