A day long high-level conference titled ‘Bangladesh Rising Conference’ has been taken place at Harvard University in USA. In the conference, Managing Director of Microsoft Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Laos Sonia Bashir Kabir delivered speech on Bangladesh rising.
In USA, it was considered Bangladesh’s biggest academic conference, where different discussions on how Bangladesh can carry on the expansion of development and make a rapid growth were taken place. Boston based research organization International Sustainable Development Institute (ISDI) in association with Center for International Development of Harvard Kennedy School organized the conference.
On Saturday, May 12, starting from 8 am (USA time) the conference went on till 9 pm. Representatives from international development partners, public representatives, top government officials, researchers and educationalists, representatives from private sector and civil society also participated the Bangladesh Rising Conference. Summit Power, G E Max Group, Bashundhara Group and Energypac Bangladesh were the event partners in the conference.
