Truck Lagbe, the largest truck hiring platform in the country and Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS), the country’s largest humanitarian non-governmental organization have jointly observed National Road Safety Day 2022 on Saturday, 22nd October 2022.

To observe the day, Truck Lagbe and Bangladesh Red Crescent Society have jointly arranged a free medical health check-up campaign for the truck drivers/ helpers at Tejgaon truck stand. This event helped truck drivers and helpers to have free access to health check-ups such as BP/ heart rate, blood grouping, eye sight test, and diabetes test. Also, they had the opportunity to share any specific health condition with the doctors.To organize the event necessary support was given by “Bangladesh Truck Covered Van Transport Agency Owners Association” and “Bangladesh Truck and Covered Van Drivers Union”. During the event, Truck Lagbe and Bangladesh Red Crescent Society have promoted the importance of road safety among truck drivers, helpers and related personnel.
