To increase the skills of the students in developing their talent and building a successful career in the future Daffodil Polytechnic Institute and Daffodil Institute of Engineering hold 'Future Engineers Carnival' for freshers.  

The carnival was organized in a different manner with the participation of more than 600 fresher students admitted to the Diploma in Engineering in the 2023-24 session. The carnival was organized to inform the students about the importance of proper mind mapping and goal setting before embarking on their Diploma Engineering journey and to provide guidance to the students so that they can successfully reach their career goals.

The entire carnival is organized through several wonderful events. Notable among these were a poster presentation, an essay competition on the topic of climate change, and an art exhibition on the theme of future Bangladesh through the eyes of an engineer, in which students participated spontaneously.

Also, with the aim of improving the skills of the students, CEO of Unique Group and NAF-Trust Syed Sanwarul Haque and Group CEO of Kalayar Replica Limited and Kalayar Packaging Limited Shakil Ahmed Siddique conducted 2 special master classes. Bangladesh Technical Education Board Director (Curriculum) Engineer Md Rakib Ullah and Structural Engineers Limited Managing Director Engineer Md Abdul Awal were also present at the program. 

Panel discussions were also organized at the carnival where students get an opportunity to learn about various strategies related to their career preparation through direct question-and-answer sessions with industry experts. Alaya Parveen Lina, Head of HR & Admin of Agora Ltd., Mohammad Samsus Salehin, General Manager (Operations) of BJIT Academy, Md. Roshan Ali Bulbul, Deputy Operative Director (HRM) of Walton Group was the guests in the panel discussion.

Along with the students, their parents were also present at the event. Principal, Vice-Principal, Deputy Director and teaching staff of Daffodil Polytechnic Institute and Daffodil Institute of Engineering were also present at the. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the competition and the participants in the question and answer session.
