The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division under the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology is accepting applications for fellowships and scholarships for research in the ICT sector for the fiscal year 2024-25. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria may apply until Thursday, February 20.
According to an official notice from the ICT Division, fellowships will be awarded to support research in the ICT sector. Additionally, grants and special financial assistance will be provided to individuals or institutions for innovative initiatives in the field of ICT.
Eligible Bangladeshi students, researchers, and aspiring individuals or institutions currently studying in various universities in Bangladesh and abroad have been invited to submit their applications online.
The application process consists of four steps. In the first step, applicants need to open the homepage of the designated website and click on the "Apply Now" button displayed in the slide. In the second step, registered users must log in using their email address and password. New users who have not registered must complete the registration form properly to create an account.
Once the account is created, a verification link will be sent to the applicant’s email. The email must be verified by clicking on the verification link. After email verification, the applicant’s mobile number must also be verified. Upon the first login, a four-digit code will be sent to the registered mobile number, which must be entered on the login page for verification.
Applicants are advised to check their Spam or Inbox folder for the verification email. If the email is found in the Spam folder, they should mark it as "Not Spam" to move it to the Inbox. In some cases, receiving the mobile verification code may take some time.
In the third step, applicants need to click on the "Apply Now" button at the top right corner of the webpage. From the four designated categories of applications, they should select their preferred category and click on the corresponding "Apply Now" button. Applicants must carefully and accurately complete the application form with all required information.
During the fourth and final step, applicants may save their application as a draft by clicking the "Save As Draft" button at the bottom left of the page, allowing them to edit it later. After ensuring that all information is correct, they should click on the "Preview and Submit" button at the bottom right to review their completed application. If any changes are needed, they can click on the "Go Back and Edit" button to make modifications. Finally, they must click on the "Finalize and Submit" button to submit their application.
